There are many courses around for Christians to learn from these days. Some use terms such as "Christian Counselling" when what they mean is "secular with prayer." At JTI, we believe that God who created humanity knows best how to repair us, so these courses have been designed to be Bible-based, practical in outworking, enhancing our relationship with Jesus Christ, and have both academic & spiritual integrity. We believe that in time these courses will become the standard by which others are measured.

Distance Learning Courses:

Diploma in Christian Counselling & Pastoral Care:

Students studying this course will require local professional counselling supervision.

If this course seems a bit daunting, we also have an option for students to complete a series of Certificates. When fully completed, their Diploma is automatically earned. These Certificates are as follows:

Certificate in Bible-Centred Counselling:

Certificate in Marriage, Family & Parenting Counselling:

Certificate in Emotional Wholness Counselling:

Certificate in Identity & Change Counselling:

Certificate in Disorders, Addictions & Cult Counselling:

Overseas students have now been accepted, and we presently have these in Australia and South Africa. Assignment papers may now be posted or emailed in to the office for marking. A major new additional requirement has been agreed to which allows students to step their Diploma up into a fully-accredited Bachelor's degree. Details of this may be found in the Prospectus.

Post Graduate Diploma in Christian Counselling:

Certificate in People Caring Skills:

School of Biblical Studies:

Certificate in New Testament Studies:

Diploma in Biblical Studies:

All courses are by Distance Learning - regardless of country.

Courses involve practical exercises, assignments and test papers to determine your grasp of the subjects covered.

Study and assignments can be at the student's own pace. Some may take longer than the recommended time, some will be quicker to complete their course.

The Post Graduate Diploma in Christian Counselling Course includes a section on establishing and maintaining a professional counselling clinic, either church or community-based, or as a private business.
